Covid-19 Information for those with Public Dental Service appointments

If you have symptoms of respiratory infection such as fever, cough, or breathing difficulties, you should remain at home and refrain from visiting our clinics.

We ask that you reschedule your planned visit or hold off on making an appointment until you have been symptom-free for 2 days.

Our online booking service is at the moment limited. You can reschedule and cancel your appointment. Do you need to book an appointment please call your local clinic. Remember that appointments must be cancelled no later than 24 hours before the appointment is scheduled to take place.

Mandatory to wear mouth protection

If you are 18 years and older, it is mandatory to wear mouth protection with respect of others and not to pass the infection on. We will provide mouth protection at the clinic. If you choose not to wear a mask, you can wait outside the clinic and we will let you know when it is time for your appointment.

Older than 70 years old or member of a risk group

At the Public Dental Service, we care about your health. As such, if you are over the age of 70 or belong to any risk group, you should refrain from visiting our clinics at this time. If you need emergency dental care, you can call your clinic to book an appointment.

In case of acute ailments

If you suffer acute oral ailments and symptoms of respiratory infection, it is best if you contact your local clinic directly. In cases of acute ailments when the clinic is closed, call 1177 for medical advice.
